West Coast Players will hold auditions for A Day in the Death of Joe Egg by Peter Nichols on Sunday, June 19 and Monday, Jun 20, 2016 at 7 p.m. at the theatre.
Director Leo Salerno is seeking:
Two men, three women, and one ten-year-old girl for this biting comedy/drama about a British couple who are struggling to save their marriage while trying to raise their only child, a ten-year-old girl with severe cerebral palsy. British accent required.
Roles to be cast:
Bri: Male – 33 years old
Sheila: Female – 35 years old
Grace: Bri’s mother – 50s to 60s
Freddie: Friend of Sheila’s (male) – stuffy, 30s to 40s
Pam: Freddie’s wife; a bit of an air head, 30s to 40s
Jo: Bri and Sheila’s daughter – not mobile or communicative but pretty, 10 years old
Production date is July 2, 2016.
Auditions will include cold readings from the script. No performers paid.
