Volunteer Information

Get involved! Volunteering with West Coast Players is a great way to meet people, to see what happens behind the scenes, to work in every aspect of our organization and to help guide the direction of the theatre.

We need volunteers for every phase of operating the theatre. This includes

Set building
Painting
Tear down
Lights
Backstage
Costumes
Maintenance
Cleaning
Marketing
Fundraising
Acting
House Manager
Box Office
Usher
Concessions

Training is offered and volunteers will receive free admission to the show. We’d love to add your name to our volunteer list! Come be a part of the magic of live theatre.

West Coast Players is proud to offer quality theatre at some of the lowest ticket prices in the area. We think it is important to keep the cost of admission as low as possible for our patrons. However, even larger theatres with much higher ticket prices typically raise less than half of their operating expenses via ticket sales. We also generate some revenue via advertising in our playbills and occasionally rent the use of our stage in between our shows. However, we are dependent upon our generous sponsors for a good fraction of our expenses.

West Coast Players is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit arts organization and all donations made to West Coast Players are fully tax-deductible to the extent provided by law.
